AAS 2018 Sudah Dibuka





Buat teman-teman para pemburu beasiswa mulai hari ini sudah bisa melakukan pendaftaran untuk melamar beasiswa AAS atau Australia Award Scholarships. Beasiswa yang sudah eksis sejak tahun 1953 dan telah memberikan dana bantuan pendidikan kepada 9000 orang Indonesia ini resmi dibuka pada 1 Februari 2018 dan batas pendaftaran akan ditutup pada 30 April 2018.

Metode pendaftaran  yang ditawarkan oleh AAS pada tahun ini ada 2 macam:




a. Online applications

 




b. Hardcopy applications

Bagi pelamar yang tidak bisa melakukan pendaftaran online bisa mengirimkan dokumen-dokumen yang dipersyaratkan melalui kiriman pos. Informasi lebih lanjut terkait pendaftaran via kiriman hardcopy dokumen bisa menghubungi email:

Adapun dokumen-dokumen yang harus dilampirkan atau diserahkan saat pendaftaran:

  • Salinan akta kelahiran atau yang setara;
  • Bukti kewarganegaraan seperti KTP atau halaman
    informasi pada paspor;
  • Daftar riwayat hidup terbaru;
  • Sertifikat perguruan tinggi resmi (yang disahkan*);
  • Transkrip nilai perguruan tinggi resmi (yang disahkan*);
  • Hasil tes bahasa Inggris IELTS atau TOEFL atau PTE
    akademik terbaru (asli) – hasil tes yang diperoleh tahun
    2016 atau 2017 dianggap baru;
  • Pelamar beasiswa Master harus melampirkan sertifikat/
    transkrip DIII jika menggunakan sertifikat/transkrip DIV
    atau Sarjana Ekstensi;
  • Pelamar beasiswa PhD harus melampirkan sertifikat/
    transkrip Sarjana;
  • Referensi akademis dari pembimbing Master bagi
    pelamar program Doktor; dan
  • Pelamar program PhD dan Master yang studinya akan
    mencakup sekurang-kurangnya lima puluh persen
    penelitian wajib melengkapi rincian proposal penelitian di
    formulir aplikasi;

* Harus disahkan oleh catatan resmi departemen dari lembaga yang menerbitkan dokumen/ atau notaris.




Kandidat penerima beasiswa yang dicari oleh AAS adalah:

In general candidates must:

  • be an Indonesian citizen and be residing in and applying for the scholarship from Indonesia;
  • Warga Negara Indonesia dan melakukan pendaftaran dari Indonesia.
  • not be married or engaged to a person who is eligible to hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent resident status, at any stage of the application, selection, mobilisation processes or while on-scholarship in Australia;
  • satisfy Australian Government requirements for international student entry to Australia (health, character etc);
  • not be applying for a visa to live in Australia;
  • not be applying for another long-term Australia Award unless they have resided outside Australia for twice the length of the total time that they were in Australia (for example, a previous Australia Awards Scholarship recipient in Australia for four years will not be eligible to apply for another Australia Awards Scholarship until they have resided outside Australia or back in Indonesia for eight years);
  • have satisfied any specific criteria established by Indonesia or government of Indonesia;
  • not be current serving military personnel;
  • be able to satisfy all requirements of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) for a DFAT student visa; and,
  • be able to satisfy the admission requirements of the Australian university at which the Scholarship is to be undertaken.





Specifically, candidates must:

  • be applying for courses that fall within the areas of  priority (see “Choosing a Course of Study” below);
  • have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.9 on a scale of maximum 4.0;
  • for Master’s applicants, have an English language proficiency of at least 5.5 in IELTS (or 525 in paper-based TOEFL or 69 in internet based TOEFL or 42 in PTE Academic). The IELTS, TOEFL or PTE Academic result must be current (a test result obtained in April 30, 2016 until April 30,2018 will be considered current). No other English language test (including TOEFL prediction test) results will be accepted;
  • for PhD applicants, have an English language proficiency of at least 6.0 in IELTS (or 550 in paper-based TOEFL or 79 in internet based TOEFL or 50 in PTE Academic). The IELTS or TOEFL or PTE Academic result must be current (a test result obtained in April 30, 2016 until April 30,2018 will be considered current). No other English language test (including TOEFL prediction test) results will be accepted;
  • for applicants from GFAs and people with dissabilities, have a GPA equal to or higher than 2.75 or IELTS 5.0 (or 500 in paper-based TOEFL or 59 in internet based TOEFL or 36 in PTE Academic);
  • already hold an undergraduate degree, if applying for a Masters;
  • already have a Masters, if applying for a Doctorate;
  • if applying for a Doctorate, applicants will be restricted to staff of universities, higher education institutions, research institutes, key policy makers and targeted candidates in other agencies associated with Australian Government activities;
  • it is highly desirable for Doctorate applicants to have a letter of support from an Australian university for their proposed field of study, and for PhD applicants to have completed a Masters with a minimum 25% research component;
  • answer all relevant questions on the application form; and,
  • be willing and available to undertake full-time (Monday  – Friday 08:00-16:00) English for Academic Purposes (EAP) training in Indonesia prior to studying in Australia, if offered a scholarship.





Tahapan dan Jadwal Seleksi:

  • Tahap 1: Pengiriman berkas pendaftaran melalui website  https://oasis.dfat.gov.au/   (1 Februari – 30 April 2018)
  • Tahap 2: Pengumuman peserta yang lolos untuk seleksi wawancara (July 2018)
  • Tahap 3: Pengumuman jadwal IELTS test
  • Tahap 4: Pelaksanaan tes wawancara dan IELTS  (July/August 2018)
  • Tahap 5: Pengumuman kandidat yang mendapatkan beasiswa AAS (Awal September 2018)
